Wednesday, 14th of July, 2021 a grant agreement was signed, funded by the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives, between the Canadian Embassy in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, represented by Ambassador Donica Pottie, and the University of Science and Technology, represented by the Deputy Dean for Scientific Research, Dr. Tariq Muqtash. It is worth noting that this grant provides working on strengthening the rights of disabled people in participation and integration in society through awareness-raising, advocating, and creating a digital platform for exchanging knowledge about accessible sites for people with disabilities in Jordan.
